Hey Yinz Guys:

What just happened there?  That had to have been the craziest game in some time.  What was crazier? That Chris Boswell missed a game winning field goal, or that the Cleveland Browns did a very Cleveland Brown thing by ending their losing streak by not winning?  Hopefully, the Stillers are out of the Twilight Zone and ready to get back to playing their brand of football. There is only one way to find aht and you know what to do…

The Chiefs come to tahn to take on the Black and Gold in this key, early AFC showdown and home opener for the Steelers. Kansas City is coming off a 38-28 win over the Chargers in the debut of quarterback Patrick Maholmes, who was the team’s first round draft pick last year.  He is also the son of former Pirates pitcher Pat Maholmes. These two teams seem to play each other every year, so look out!

The Stillers are coming off a 21-21 tie to the Brownies in what can only be described as a strange game. This game featured six turnovers for the Black and Gold, T. J. Watt finishing where he left off last season, a driving rainstorm, James Conner’s big game and some questionable officiating.

Making it even stranger was everyone’s favorite official, Al Riveron, declaring afterwards that the officials erred in a roughing the passer call against the Brownies.  Ignoring the fact the Steelers had to score three times on the same drive, a missed crack-back block and a missed call on the botched punt.  Where is that bad call brick when you need it? No need to lose sleep over it. Come on out this weekend and catch some Stillers football!

Q. Who 1) was the former Heisman Trophy runner up 2) played one season in Pittsburgh (where he led the league in rushing) and 3) later became a Supreme Court Justice?
