This Week's Game Plan

Steelers @ Buccaneers 2018

Kickoff:
Monday, September 24, 2018 - 7:30pm
Doors open at:
6:15 PM

The Steelers travel to Tampa to take on the Bucs in a game that features two of the surprises in the NFL this season, for different reasons.  The Steelers will look for their first win this season while the Bucs will look to go 3-0 for the first time since 2005. The road game is probably coming at a good time, as the locker room has more drama in it than a teenage slumber party so hopefully the change of scenery does the team good.  Tampa has been known as Pittsburgh South, so expect to see plenty of Terrible Towels!  The Bucs are led by the surprising, never aging Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has looked MVP-like early in the season.  Pittsburgh will look to end “Fitzmagic” this week so take a break, so come on out and have fun with the SFOM while we cheer on the Black and Gold!

End of Season Message

These are always the tough messages to write; the end-of-season ones where there is still football left to be played. Another Super Bowl run was not meant to be as the loss of Le’Veon Bell and the addition of Haloti Ngata fresh from his return from his spa vacation (NFL suspension for performance enhancing drugs) lead to a 30-17 loss to the Ratbirds to end the 2014 season.

ALWAYS A HOME GAME

The book written by former Steelers punter Josh Miller is a journey to Steelers bars all over the country. There is a great section on the SFOM and McGovern’s. Proceeds benefit former Steelers in need. You can order it at www.alwaysahomegame.com
